WHO AM I?
I am MegGyver…it's right there in the web address…just kidding.
My name is Meghan Kotlanger, and I've been working in the creative content space since 2010. I have an MA in Film and Video and have jumped from huge agency to tiny production company to small agency. I had a baby and became a statistic - a new mom whose position was eliminated.
Rather than view this as a negative, I decided to embrace the dream I'd had for years to break up with my full-time job and change my status to DTF (down to freelance) in order to spend more time with the people I love doing more of the things I love. I'm in this for the life-work balance.
WHAT DO I ACTUALLY DO?
I do a little bit of everything, so I consider myself a creative producer/generalist in the content space. What is content? Well anything used to communicate a message - it’s video, it’s design, it’s copy, it’s a canvas with white paint on it (pound sign art). I'm here to support teams in the content and production world who need a dedicated, flexible professional.
My competencies are: producing, directing, project management, strategy, copywriting, operations, and business development.
